Rebuilding from the Financial Crisis

Barbara Byrne was on the front lines of the 2009 financial crisis. As current Vice Chairman of Barclays Capital, and former Vice Chairman at Lehman Brothers, she shares what it was like to be "in the front car of the roller coaster that went off the rails." She stresses the importance of thinking long term, governing business, regaining confidence in the markets, and changing our personal rhetoric to "one of hope".
