Windows for Widows

Heather founded Windows for Widows following the passing of her grandmother in 2009 together with her friend Elaine Barsoom. Windows for Widows is a nonprofit organization dedicated to empowering widows and women head of households to overcome poverty through skills based training, job creation, and micro-finance. The organization's goal is to help widows and female-headed households achieve financial stability, self-sufficiency, accountability, and importantly, for a mother to become a role model to her own children and to others.
