  Nicole Schwab, the Founder of the Gender Equality Project, explains her organization’s global mission of examining the gender gap and closing the gap between opportunities for men and women in the workplace. The Gender Equality Project is establishing a global standard in gender equality, and is launching a global certification system that will foster greater awareness and transparency, making it possible to hold companies accountable for their progress in giving men and women equal opportunities. 

Elizabeth Jordan is a photographer highlighting projects, through imagery, that evoke social change in communities all over the world. She shares her story, and the admiration and commitment she feels to the women she photographs. Her prior exhibitions have featured images from Moscow, Rwanda and Bosnia. All the proceeds from Jordan’s past exhibits have gone to causes like Right to play, Women for Women International and NYU’s Ghana campus.

  Luminary Award Winner Lynn Tilton asks the question “How do you create light?” The greatest force of nature is people standing shoulder-to-shoulder and moving in one direction. She calls on all women to come together and become that spark to create light.   Lynn reminds us that we are pure power, and must remember that. We’ve reached that time where it’s critical for women to take care of each other, and make sure that the path for other women is clear.
