Maya Ajmera is the founder and president of The Global Fund for Children (GFC), a philanthropic intermediary that makes small grants to innovative, community-based organizations working with some of the world’s most vulnerable children and youth. GFC has awarded 2,606 grants, totaling over $15.3 million, to 376 grassroots organizations in 73 countries.
