Monica Mandelli Managing Director, INVESTMENT BANKING DIVISION Technology, Media & Telecommunications Group GOLDMAN, SACHS & CO.

Monica is a Managing Director in Investment Banking at Goldman Sachs in New York. She is currently Co-Head of the Publishing and Information Services sector and Head of the Theatrical Exhibition sector within the Technology, Media and Telecommunications (TMT) Group in Investment Banking. She is responsible for the firm's relationship with several important media clients. She is also involved with and has served in leadership roles in the firm's recruiting, training and mentoring programs. Monica joined Goldman Sachs in 1998.

Prior to joining Goldman Sachs, Monica worked at Merrill Lynch International in London in the Mergers and Acquisitions group, focusing on European transactions, and at McKinsey & Company in New York.

Monica serves on the Board of Directors of Good Shepherd Services, a nonprofit organization providing education and services to over 20,000 children in New York City each year.

Monica earned a BS and an MS, summa cum laude, in Economics and Social Studies from Università Bocconi, Milan, and an MBA, with distinction, from Harvard Business School.

She and her husband, Marco Valla, have one son and live in New York City.
