Sally E. Durdan

Ms. Durdan joined JPMorgan Chase in November 2004 and in September 2007 was named Chief Financial Officer of JPMC’s Retail Financial Services businesses, which include consumer and small business banking, mortgage and auto finance, and student lending.

Prior to her new role, Ms. Durdan was Executive Vice President of Corporate Finance and was responsible for Corporate Planning & Analysis, Corporate Mergers & Acquisitions, and finance support for JPMC’s corporate staff areas including Technology & Operations and Real Estate. Ms. Durdan has served as a member of JPMC’s firmwide Diversity Council, co-leader of the JPMC Finance senior women’s initiative, and executive sponsor of the Firm’s summer and full-time analyst and associate recruiting programs in Finance.
Prior to joining JPMorgan Chase, Ms. Durdan spent 10 years at Citigroup in a variety of planning, strategy and business development roles. Most recently, Ms. Durdan was Managing Director and Head of Strategy & Planning for Citigroup’s Corporate and Investment Bank (CIB), which includes the global capital markets, investment banking, corporate banking and transaction services businesses of Citigroup.

Ms. Durdan began her career as a strategy consultant in the San Francisco and New York offices of McKinsey & Company.

Ms. Durdan is a member of the board of Graham Windham, a non-profit organization providing child care, foster care, mental health and early childhood services to children in the greater New York area. She is also a member of the Board of Education of the Greenburgh-Graham Union Free School District in Hastings-on-Hudson, NY, which provides a year-round educational program for children identified as emotionally and/or learning disabled. In November 2003, she was inducted into the YWCA-NYC Academy of Women Leaders.

Ms. Durdan received her undergraduate degree from Mount Holyoke College and her MBA from Harvard Business School, and also pursued doctoral studies in Economics at Harvard. She lives in Scarsdale, New York, with her children, Katie (10) and Connor (6).
